An Artist Roster
Thirteen contemporary artists, chosen and profiled for a roster across India and Japan.
What it was
At Geek Art I researched and built a roster of contemporary artists, focused on India and Japan.
What I did
For each artist I wrote a short profile covering their training, the concerns of their practice, the gallery that represents them and where to see more. The Indian selection included Asim Waqif, Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran, Sahej Rahal, Utkarsh Makwana, Mohammed Adel, Pradipta Chakraborty, Varun Desai, Kisalay Vora, Sanuj Birla, Mira Felicia Malhotra, Gaurav Ogale, Tahir Sultan and Viraj Khanna.
Excerpts
Asim Waqif. Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran. Varun Desai. Gaurav Ogale.
This roster was researched at Geek Art in 2023 and is shown here as an excerpt. Images of artworks belong to the artists.
